In other, non-Coldplay related news, I have had this song playing on a loop in my head since I was fortunate enough to watch this amazing band Sunday afternoon. More on that in my ACL Recap Day 3. Until then (it could be sometime next week, at the rate I’m going), just sit back and enjoy this.

from the album, The Seldom Seen Kid, which I’m listening to right now.
ACL Artist of the Day- Elbow- The Bones of You
Elbow is one of those bands that I keep hearing good things about, but I’ve somehow never managed to listen to them. I’ve even got The Seldom Seen Kid, so I’ve really got to fix that. But, based on this song, I think they’re a band I could really like.
Lead singer Guy Garvey’s voice is so smooth and I love the melody and instrumentation here. Elbow play a Sunday set at ACL, and I’ll definitely be checking them out.
